Cranberry Bog Tours
Join us for a tour of working cranberry bogs during the harvest!!  Guides will take you on a tour of the cranberry bogs, discuss all aspects of cranberry growing and answer your questions. Tours begin at 10 a.m. at the Tihonet Village Market. $10 per person, children under 7 are free. Tour length is approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Attendees will be transported by bus to the bog. Falmouth Cranberry Harvest and Farm Festival

Cape Cod's heritage as the birthplace of cranberry farming will be celebrated Saturday, October at the Falmouth Cranberry Harvest and Farm Festival at the John Parker Road bogs in East Falmouth.  The 120-year-old bogs are to be wet harvested on that day.  The festival is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  It features cranberry foods and related crafts, displays of old scoops, tools, and historic photographs, walking tours of the bogs, and activities for children.  The Portuguese-American Cub offers lunch, and a variety of local berries, organic and standard; fresh and dried, are for sale.  Rain date:  Sunday.
