Pink! Announcing the 2nd Annual Cranberry Blossom Festival June
19-22,
2008 in Wisconsin Rapids.
The three-day event will offer world-class
musicians Saturday night in downtown Wisconsin Rapids and a wide
assortment of cranberry cuisine from the world’s largest
cranberry producing region.
The festival kicks off Friday morning with the June
Dairy and Berry Breakfast at Lincoln High School. Arts, crafts and
cranberry products will be available Saturday at Witter Field along
with family-friendly activities, live music and plenty of cranberry
treats. Downtown Wisconsin Rapids will blossom with musicians Saturday
night. Sunday features a kids’ fishing contest, the great cranberry drop, and blossom-themed parade beginning at 12:30 p.m. That evening,
treat yourself to a five-course meal featuring cranberries at
Hotel Mead.
